Important Program Update

Unfortunately, Moondobang has informed us that he will not be able to join ClayZieFest 2026.
Due to urgent shoulder surgery and the recovery period that follows, he has been forced to cancel his participation.

We know that many people were looking forward to seeing him at work, and we fully understand the disappointment.
Health must always come first, and we sincerely wish Moondobang a smooth surgery and a full recovery.

Ticket holders registered for Moondobang’s masterclass will be contacted personally with further practical information about the updated masterclass program.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

MOONDOBANG

Moondobang is a ceramics studio founded and led by Moon Byung-sik, a Korean artist renowned for his mastery of white porcelain (baekja). Based in Yeoju, a historic center of Korean pottery, Moon’s work is rooted in traditional techniques yet guided by a contemporary sensibility. His minimalist forms—ranging from moon jars to everyday vessels—embody both purity and quiet strength. While his early practice explored iron painting and surface decoration, he now focuses on the serene elegance of unadorned porcelain. Through international workshops and exhibitions across East Asia, Europe, and the United States, Moondobang continues to share the timeless beauty and philosophy of Korean ceramics with the world.
