KSENIYA POLYAKOVA
Kseniya Polyakova is an internationally recognised ceramic artist known for her impressive large-scale wheel-thrown forms and her highly developed personal throwing technique. She specialises in complex, compound ceramic forms, working with substantial amounts of clay to create pieces that can reach an extraordinary scale. Her approach challenges the idea that large-form throwing is purely about physical strength, instead showing how technique, structure, timing, and precision can completely transform what is possible on the wheel.
As the founder of KP Ceramic School, Kseniya has also built a strong international teaching practice, sharing her method with potters around the world. Her workshops are known for their clarity, focus, and practical depth, offering participants a structured way to understand large-scale throwing from the inside out.
