Jean-François Thiérion is a French ceramic artist celebrated for his monumental vessels that blend sculptural form with expressive surface design. Trained in France, Thiérion has been living and working in Denmark for over two decades, contributing to the European ceramics scene with his distinctive approach.

His work often features large-scale platters, vases, and jars that serve as canvases for vivid, painterly decoration. These pieces are characterized by their dynamic forms and the interplay of color and texture, reflecting a deep engagement with both traditional techniques and contemporary aesthetics.
