JONAH FLEEGER

Jonah Fleeger is a ceramic artist whose work is grounded in a deep love for clay that began during his time at Verde Valley School in Sedona, Arizona. Originally from Northwest Indiana, he earned his BFA in ceramics from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2013. Following his graduation, Jonah taught ceramics and made glazes at Lillstreet Art Center in Chicago before pursuing post-baccalaureate studies at The University of Colorado Boulder and Northern Arizona University.

In 2019, he completed his MFA in ceramics at the Rhode Island School of Design. He has since held residencies at the Morean Center for Clay in Florida and the Cobb Mountain Art & Ecology Project in California. Currently based in Prescott, Arizona, Jonah shares his passion for ceramics as an adjunct professor at Yavapai College, continuing to inspire and mentor the next generation of ceramic artists.
