Master potter Byung Sik Moon, started Moon Do Bang – which means Moon’s pottery Shop- at the age of 26. Now he’s known around the world as ‘Moondobang’. Byung Sik Moon, a master potter hailing from South Korea, boasts extensive experience and finely honed techniques in his craft. Rooted in traditional Korean ceramics, his distinctive forms are easily identifiable. Renowned for his diligent work ethic, Moon is a prolific artist who professes his greatest comfort lies behind the pottery wheel. He delights in sharing his creations with others. Witnessing his remarkable accomplishments on the wheel is awe-inspiring, but experiencing it firsthand is truly mind-blowing.
