These General Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all visitors, participants, partners, vendors, volunteers, and ticket holders (“Attendees”) of ClayZieFest (“Festival”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing a ticket, attending the Festival, or participating in any Festival activity, you agree to be bound by the following Terms.
1. Tickets & Admissions
1.1 Ticket Purchase
All ticket sales are handled exclusively through our official ticketing platform.
Tickets are valid only for the specific dates, activities, workshops, and locations indicated at the time of purchase.
1.2 Non-Refundable Policy
All tickets are non-refundable.
Artist changes, program adjustments, or schedule modifications do not entitle ticket holders to refunds.
1.3 Masterclasses, Workshops & Limited-Capacity Activities
Admission to masterclasses requires a special ticket, unless stated otherwise.
A booking is only confirmed after full payment has been received.
1.4 Ticket Transfers
Tickets may be transferred to another person if the ticketing platform allows it.
Any transfer fees are the responsibility of the ticket holder.
1.5 Wristbands / Badges
Attendees must wear their Festival wristband or badge visibly at all times.
Lost or damaged wristbands may be replaced at the Festival’s discretion and may incur a fee.
2. Program Changes & Artist Lineup
2.1 Right to Modify
The Festival reserves the right to modify the schedule, programming, artist lineup, activity locations, or times at any moment.
2.2 Artist Cancellations
In the event of artist cancellations, we will secure the best possible alternative.
Such cancellations do not constitute grounds for refunds or compensation.
3. Conduct & Safety
3.1 Inclusivity & Behaviour Policy
ClayZieFest is a festival where everyone is welcome. We are committed to creating an open, inspiring, and respectful environment for all visitors, artists, staff members, partners, and volunteers.
Unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated on the festival grounds. This includes, but is not limited to:
Harassment or discriminatory behaviour
Verbal, physical, or online aggression
Intimidation, threatening behaviour, or disruption of activities
Actions that endanger the safety, wellbeing, or enjoyment of others
Anyone violating these standards may be denied entry or removed from the festival without refund, in order to protect the experience and safety of all attendees.
3.2 Code of Conduct
Attendees must:
Treat artists, staff, volunteers, vendors, partners, and fellow visitors with respect.
Follow instructions issued by Festival staff.
Refrain from disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour.
Harassment, aggression, or dangerous actions may result in removal without refund.
3.3 Safety at Demonstrations & Kilns
Certain activities involve heat, tools, heavy equipment, or firing processes.
Attendees must:
Respect safety zones and instructions
Avoid restricted areas
Follow safety signage and staff directions
Access to specific zones may be limited due to safety regulations.
3.4 Prohibited Items
The following items are not permitted:
Weapons or dangerous objects
Illegal substances
Open flames or flammable items
Any item deemed unsafe by Festival staff
3.5 Personal Belongings
The Festival is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen belongings.
Visitors should keep valuables secure and within sight.
3.6 Our Safety Commitment
ClayZieFest prioritizes the wellbeing of every visitor, artist, staff member, partner, and volunteer.
We maintain strict safety standards for all activities, including demonstrations, firing processes, equipment usage, and crowd management.
We ask all Attendees to follow safety instructions at all times to help keep the festival environment secure and enjoyable for everyone.
4. Liability & Disclaimer
4.1 Attendance at Your Own Risk
Participation in the Festival, including workshops and hands-on activities, is at your own risk. This may involve exposure to:
Clay, tools, materials, glazes
Dust, heat, or active kilns
Crowds and workshop equipment
4.2 Festival Liability
The Festival is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages sustained on Festival grounds.
4.3 Third-Party Activities
Some workshops or demonstrations may be operated by external artists or partners.
We are not responsible for the actions, omissions, or policies of third parties.
5. Photography, Video & Media
5.1 Festival Documentation
By attending, you acknowledge that:
Photos and videos may be taken by Festival staff or authorized media.
These may be used for promotional, commercial, or archival purposes.
If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify staff upon entry; however, avoidance cannot be guaranteed in public settings.
5.2 Personal Photography
Visitors may take personal photos unless explicitly restricted.
Some artists may prohibit filming or photography during specific sessions—please respect these requests.
6. Vendors, Partners & Artists
- Vendors, exhibitors, partners, and participating artists operate under their own terms and are responsible for their own products, services, teaching methods, and interactions.
- The Festival is not liable for disputes, conflicts, or misunderstandings between attendees and any third-party provider present at the event, including vendors, partners, or artists.
- Any concerns or issues should be addressed directly with the third party involved.
7. Children & Youth Attendance
ClayZieFest is primarily an event designed for adults.
Children are welcome but must purchase a ticket, regardless of age.
Children under age 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Due to safety considerations around kilns, equipment, tools, and demonstrations, some areas or activities may not be suitable or accessible for children.
The Festival reserves the right to restrict access to certain zones for minors whenever safety cannot be guaranteed.
8. Accessibility
ClayZieFest aims to be accessible and welcoming to all visitors. However, due to the industrial style and layout of the venue, accessibility for certain areas—particularly some masterclass spaces—may be limited.

9. Weather, Force Majeure & Unexpected Circumstances
9.1 Weather Conditions
The Festival takes place regardless of weather unless conditions create a safety risk.
9.2 Force Majeure
The Festival may cancel, postpone, or adjust the event in circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Fires
Pandemic restrictions
Strikes
Government regulations
Infrastructure failure
No refunds or compensation will be issued for cancellations or changes due to force majeure unless required by law.
10. Privacy Policy
Personal data collected through ticketing, newsletters, or festival participation will be processed according to our Privacy Policy.
